Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Payments An arrangement fee of £200.00 is charged on all hunts and is additional to the hunt price. A 50% deposit is required to confirm and secure a booking. Payments made by credit card will carry a surcharge of approximately 2.5%. The remaining balance must be received as cleared funds in the Field & Forest bank account no later than 60 days prior to the hunt start date. Failure to pay within this time limit gives Field & Forest the right to cancel the hunt, forfeiting the client’s right to any refund.

All deposits are non-refundable. However, if notice is given within 60 days of the deposit date, Field & Forest will allow the client to re-book the trip or hunt. This is valid for 12 months from the deposit date, and an administrative charge of 10% of the hunt value will apply.

2. Cancellation and Change of Departure Date If the client cancels, all payments are non-refundable. Field & Forest reserves the right to move the hunt destination and dates in the event of weather, acts of war, health issues (including disease) or transport/airline changes. There is no refund for cancellation, but Field & Forest will re-book the hunt on an agreed date within one year. Field & Forest strongly advises that all clients take out comprehensive travel and hunt insurance. Some hunting activities are dangerous and Field & Forest accepts no responsibility for weather, ill health, or transport problems during travel or hunting.

3. Regulation of Prices All hunt and travel prices are based on the currency rate at the time of quotation prior to deposit. This price can only be held if paid in full on the deposit date. Field & Forest will allow a variation of +/–2.5% of hunt value without surcharge or credit. Field & Forest reserves the right to change prices at any time due to forces beyond its control, including currency fluctuations, taxes, duties or changes in services within the hunting area.

4. Flights Flights available upon request. If a client’s firearm does not reach the hunt destination, Field & Forest will endeavour to arrange a suitable firearm to use, provided this is lawful in the country in question. If this is not possible, Field & Forest is not responsible for loss of the hunt.

5. Trophies All trophy fees are to be paid in full on completion of the hunt. All animals wounded or not recovered are to be paid in full according to the Professional Hunter or Guide’s recommendation. Transport of shot trophies is the sole responsibility of the hunter/client.

6. Health Field & Forest recommends that all clients consult their doctor prior to the commencement of any hunt. Field & Forest accepts no responsibility for any hunter’s health issues before, during or after the hunt.

7. Insurance Field & Forest strongly recommends that all clients take out their own travel and hunting insurance. Field & Forest can assist in arranging this upon request.
